If there is one thing that the Swiss Alps are famous for even more than for snow, it is for watch making, though why such a place should have originally bred so many famous watchmakers and their brands seems to be a mystery.

Franck Muller was one such young man and he yearned to make watches and so he went to the Swiss Alps and La Chaux-de-Fronds to be with people who not only understood, but encouraged his urges.

Franck spent a long time working for others while he created and then perfected his own wristwatch designs until 1958 when he came out of the shadow of other watchmakers and formed his own company producing exclusive watches for the few.
